production strategy

1. I am choosing to start my drift walk on the corner of Wisconsin Ave. and Van Buren St. From past experiences, I know that this is a very busy street. I really want to capture a human interactions so being in the heart of the city will help. I am going to look for different places to record video. Being in a place that has a lot of movement in it will consequently make my video more appealing. I also know that this particular area is full of buildings with awesome architecture. I will do my sound recordings in a wooded area off of Capital. I'm courious to see how strictly natural sounds will blend with the images I capture of the city.
2. From my starting point I will head west on Wisconsin Ave. At every intersection I will flip a coin. If the coin lands on heads, I will take a right and if it lands on tails, I will take the left. I will be on the look out for little nooks and crannies of the city streets so I may diverge a little bit off course.
3. In order to ensure that I have enough video captured I have picked two techniques to limit myself. The first technique I want to do is to shoot a lot of images while the camera is suspended by something or being moved by something other than myself. The next technique I want to try is attempting to get the lowest possible angle with my camera. These two techniques sound really cool and I'm excited to try them out.
